Christmas Crafting
This week we have been decking the halls and crafting for Christmas! I was on the hunt for Advent calendars for the boys and couldn't find anything that I wanted to buy. There are so many good ideas on Pinterest that I decided to make my own using leftover scrap booking supplies. I think the boys were slightly disappointed that there wasn't chocolate inside, but they will be happy with some of the activities and treats that each day will bring.
Again, on Pinterest, there are so many cute toddler crafts that Trent can do with little assistance. He loves rolling his sleeves up and getting dirty. This morning he made a cute little Christmas tree that sits in slots of a toilet paper roll and then a hand print Christmas tree on canvas.
Proudly displayed on his dresser...
and then...the boys' elf arrived!! I have been patiently(okay, not so patiently) waiting for his arrival. I've seen pictures everywhere of all kinds of mischief these elves get into and I'm sure the boys will have fun with him. I walked into the boys room a little while ago and saw this:
The boys will be in for a surprise after school!

LOVE IT!!!!! The calendar, crafts, Trent's shirt, and the elf!!!! I think you'll love picking Christopher over the classic Elf on the Shelf because he is so bendable. Saw lots of ideas on Pinterest, too for sneaky elves ;)
